Look Around You Part 1
Well, this is my first one in a while. Sorry that I have neglected to keep this ball rolling but don't worry, I got a lot on my mind. Recently, the Thanksgiving holiday came and went. Families all around the country joined together and ate and gave thanks, even if there's tension at the table. And it seems like there's tension everywhere, because once again another Thanksgiving has gone by with U.S. troops still in Iraq, It really must be hard being away from your family and having to worry about ambush attacks on a holiday like this. God Bless you all. And the war is starting to show in the economy. The gas prices keep going up and oil is almost $100 per barrel and when the year started it was at around $60, the dollar is weakening as a currency, and the Patriots keep cheating...um disregard that last part. But there needs to be a change and there needs to be a change fast. When you look around you, what do you see? You might already be used to what you are seeing so you might not say much. But what I see, is self-destruction. Everything being purchased is helping foreign markets when we can't even help our own. The poor and middle-class want to "keep up with the Joneses" so they buy, excuse me, lease cars that dig themselves into debt. At the same time the taxes they pay go to everything from bureaucrats and politician's long vacations in the Caribbean for weeks to digging for evidence to convict Barry Bonds on steroids. So we continue to buy imported cars and electronics, people in those domestic industries in America lose their jobs, foreclosures go up, houses don't get sold and yet we care so much about what's the latest with Britney Spears. Nobody can even afford to save money anymore, it's like a trap. I'll keep this one going in Part Two, so till next time.

Media Field Day
Yeah I'm back today after a taking off this shit to work and handle other shit outside the internet world. So I was on allhiphop.com and saw a video interview on David Banner, who has a voice in the midst of darkness. After watching the video I have come to the conclusion that we need more people like this in hip-hop culture. He may not speak for all black people like your Oprahs and Jesse Jacksons, but he speaks for the young generation. In the video started right at it, what we've heard about constantly constantly on the news, Michael Vick. Banner was like 'how could we sit back and watch white America just obliterate this man like they're doing, and he's one of us'. It was something that needed to be said and something that I needed to hear. After hearing and seeing so many white correspondents and legal experts cut down this talented athlete, I needed to hear someone that I could relate to speak about it. Even though the acts that Vick was apart of was not right and inhumane, there's a lot worse shit out there to focus on. Now they done raided DMX's home and seized his dogs just off of probable cause. And even though nobody wants to jump on a sinking ship because they'll drown too, give Vick a break. It just goes to show how much underlying and concealed hatred that white folks have for us still to this day. And I almost sure that if it was a white entertainer or athlete, it would not have been as severe. But what can you do, in this society to be a successful minority, you have to be squeekly clean or else you'll be where O.J. is and where Vick is now.

Beretta Man is here
This is Bobby Beretta coming to you live from the spot where I'm typing this at, my laptop. This is my first blog so I'm going to introduce myself. I'm a 21 year old black man living in Miami a.k.a M-I-yayo and dat 3-0-5. I was born and raised here and it feels good to be from this city, I wouldn't be from nowhere else. Even though I faced hard times growing up struggling financially didn't stop my growth. Today I sit here more educated than ignorant and I owe that to my upbringing. I will speak on current events mostly in my life and in the world. I will share some of the tracks that serve as the soundtrack to my life at the given moment. And I will take questions and give the best advice I can. Ya dig? So today is a new day...the Beretta Chronicles is here. Chuuch.
